Beautiful Video Project Inc. (“BVP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) develops and publishes mobile applications including Reverse Vid, Dub Video, Watermark Photo, TrimVid, MusicVid, SizeVid, and Reverse Vid Pro (collectively, the “Apps”). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
By downloading or using any of our Apps, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Apps.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Our Apps are designed to function without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. If you contact us for support at info@beautifulvideoproject.com, we will receive whatever information you include in your message.
User Content
Some of our Apps allow you to import or record video, audio, and image content (“User Content”) for editing and processing. User Content is processed on your device or, where a feature requires it, transmitted to third-party services as described in Section 4. We do not store your User Content on our servers.
Dub Video specifically transmits video and audio clips to HeyGen, Inc. for AI-powered lip-sync dubbing. These clips are sent only when you initiate a dubbing request and are subject to HeyGen’s privacy policy and data retention practices.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use our Apps, certain non-personal information may be collected automatically, including device information (device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers), app usage data (session duration, feature usage, crash logs), and purchase and subscription data processed through Apple’s App Store and our subscription management providers. We do not collect precise geolocation data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Apps; process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions; diagnose technical problems and analyze usage trends; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party direct marketing purposes unless you affirmatively opt in.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with the following third-party service providers to operate our Apps:
- RevenueCat — process subscription events, manage pricing, and provide analytics on purchase activity.
- Google Firebase — collects anonymized usage data, crash reports, and performance metrics.
- HeyGen, Inc. (Dub Video only)— receives video and audio content (including visual likeness and voice) that you submit for lip-sync dubbing. HeyGen processes this content to perform the dubbing service and may use it to improve its models (you may opt out by contacting HeyGen at privacy@heygen.com). HeyGen maintains physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect your data, does not sell personal information, and will delete your data within 72 hours of a deletion request. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services on our behalf. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
5. Data Security
We employ reasonable administrative, physical, and electronic safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. International Users
Our Apps are available worldwide. If you access our Apps from outside of Canada, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or in jurisdictions where our third-party service providers operate. By using our Apps, you consent to such transfers.
8. Your Choices
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App, manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings, or contact us with any questions at info@beautifulvideoproject.com.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of our Apps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
